Watching a Telugu video with Smart Subtitles on, the words worth learning first stand out. An underline shows how common each word is, and a tap tells you what it means in that exact sentence. The ranking leans on recorded everyday Telugu conversations more than on web text, so నమస్కారం, ధన్యవాదాలు and సరే count as everyday words.
Every form of a word shares one rank: చేస్తున్నారు and చేశారు both count as చేయు, and ఇంటికి counts as ఇల్లు. And the Words tab on your Progress screen now shows how many of the most common Telugu words you have come across.
