Fast speed Esperanto

Esperanto at full speed: quick talk, people who sound very different, and long talk between people who know the language well.

Fast Esperanto is not like the school books. The words fit together the same way, but people talk fast. They cut words short, join parts into new words you have never seen, and the -n sound joins the next word. People sound more different when they talk fast, so a Brazilian, a Pole, and an Australian can sound very different, even with the same words. Up here, you hear the community talk to each other: talks between two people, big meeting talks, and long videos that are not planned. You will also hear from the denaskuloj: people who grew up with Esperanto at home and never studied it in class. There are maybe a few hundred to a few thousand of them in the world. You will get lost sometimes. Watch once to get the big idea. Then go back and listen to the hard part again. You may need to hear it four times.
