Fast speed Portuguese

Fast Portuguese means over 160 words a minute. This is Portuguese at its fastest. Brazilian Portuguese still sounds full and nice, even fast. European Portuguese cuts sounds even more, so words get very short. People mix short word forms together, and use new words all the time, even good students hear words they do not know. People talking do not slow down for you. Talk shows, funny shows, and reality TV are great for this: people talk over each other, jokes are fast, and feelings make people talk even faster. This level is for advanced students who want to hear real Portuguese, the way it really sounds. Watch once just to get the main idea. Then watch the hard parts again: watch them again, slow them down, or write down what you hear.
