Medium speed Persian

Real Persian at normal speed, spoken every day in Tehran.

Real Persian at normal speed sounds different from book Persian. When people talk fast, words get shorter: miravam means I go, and it becomes miram. People often leave out small words like I, because the end of the word already tells you who. Tehran sets the way most people talk, but other cities sound a bit different. The word you use changes with who you are talking to. bia means come, for friends. befarmayid also means come, but for someone you show more respect to. Small words like khob, pas, vali, and yani come up all the time in talk. Videos from Tehran, food videos, and talks with real people show this real way of talking. Pick people who talk at the same speed, and keep watching until your ear gets used to it.
