Pawan, Comprehensible Hindi

Picked by

I make Comprehensible Hindi, and these are ten Hindi YouTubers I've watched for years. Most of them are hugely popular in India. I didn't sort them by level on purpose: they're for fun, not lessons, so a beginner can pick any of them and so can an advanced listener. Follow whatever pulls you in, whether that's food, travel, comedy or politics, and you'll pick up what India looks like, what people eat and how they think along the way. I saved my favourite for last: Samdish.

Aap Ki Adalat (India TV)

Rajat Sharma's long-running TV show, staged as a courtroom where celebrities and politicians answer playful charges. It was made for a mass audience, so there's little English mixed in, and each interview flows like a story.

The favourite of the ten: casual, funny conversations with politicians and celebrities at home, and with ordinary people at rallies or in village schools. He keeps the humour even when the topic turns serious.
