Boer zoekt Vrouw (“Farmer Seeks Wife”) is the long-running Dutch reality show on KRO-NCRV that’s been pairing single farmers with hopeful candidates since 2004. Host Yvon Jaspers has become the calm, motherly face of the format. The show draws Sunday-night audiences in the millions and has produced a long list of actual marriages, real farms with real heirs, and the occasional dramatic dump.
