法文怎麼說「專心、注意」？

說英文的人想表達「專心、注意」時，習慣直譯成 payer attention —— 但這在法文裡根本不存在。Payer 只用在付錢。要說「專心、注意」，法文用 être attentif：Tu dois être attentif（「你得專心」）。修正很簡單：把「付錢」的動詞換成「保持專心」。

Être attentif 要跟著主詞變化：je suis attentif（陽性）/attentive（陰性）、ils sont attentifs。另外兩個常用說法意思相近：faire attention（「小心／專心」，也可當警告 —— fais attention!）以及稍正式的 prêter attention à（「注意……」）。母語者永遠不會說 payer attention —— 法文裡 payer（付錢）後面只能接帳單。
