Italian Beginner Research Cohort
The most useful 500 Italian words in the context of real videos, in 30 days
We're testing a guided way to learn Italian from real native speakers, built on how spaced repetition actually works. Looking for absolute beginners through A2 learners to try it before anyone else.

Real Italians, not flashcards
Every day you watch short clips of Italians actually speaking, chosen for the words they teach. You're not memorizing a list. You're meeting each word in real speech, more than once, spaced out over time, so it has a real chance to stick.
Spaced repetition runs on one rule: bring a word back right before you'd forget it. Too early and you waste the review. Too late and you're relearning it from scratch. This program tracks that moment for each of your 500 words and puts the right clip in front of you exactly then.
Real speech doesn't stay inside a list, and neither will you: you'll pick up plenty of words beyond the 500 just from watching.
Built for absolute beginners through A2
This program is made for people starting from zero, or close to it, all the way through A2. If you're already past that level, this particular track isn't tuned for you, but the regular Reelang Italian feed is a better fit.
What you get
I've watched a lot of learners hit the same wall: fine with a textbook, frozen the moment a real Italian talks at real speed. We built this to close that specific gap, not to launch a giant new product. I'd rather test it properly with a small group who'll tell us what's broken than ship it quietly to everyone. If that's you, I'd love your help.

Questions
Is this different from the Reelang app I might already use?
Yes. The regular app is our free, open catalog of native-speaker video in dozens of languages. This is a separate, guided 30-day track built specifically around Italian's 500 most common words, open right now only to this cohort.
What if I miss a day?
The program flexes around you. A missed day doesn't reset anything, that day's words just wait a little longer to come back around.
Does it cost anything?
No. It's free to join, and it stays free for you after the cohort ends.
How do I sign in?
With Google, or with a one-time link we email you, whichever you'd rather use. No password to remember.
