Hear a native speaker say the word (native pronunciation)
Live for everyone, right now.
Tap a word you don't know and hear how a native speaker says it. In German, English, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish and plenty of others, most of the words you'll come across are recorded by real people. When we don't have a recording yet, it's often a rarer word or a name, an AI voice with a native accent for that language reads it, so you're never copying the wrong accent. We keep looking for ways to close those gaps, language by language.
Today's best AI voices, ElevenLabs and the rest, are very good at one thing: speech a native speaker can follow. A native ear glosses over a wrong vowel or a stress in the wrong place. Your ear can't yet, because it doesn't know which part was off. That's how plenty of conversation apps and pronunciation trainers in this space end up teaching an accent nobody actually has. We use AI for the boring parts, but the voice you copy should be a person's.
