What is a “сервант” in Ukrainian homes?
In Ukrainian, the сервант is a tall, glass-fronted cabinet that holds the family’s good dishware: fine plates, crystal glasses, the wedding-gift tea set that gets admired but never used. Most Ukrainian households of a certain vintage still have one.
