What is 'Karrewiet' in Flemish kids' TV?
Karrewiet is the daily kids' news show on Flemish public broadcaster Ketnet, running since 2000. Hosted by a rotating cast of young Flemish presenters, it covers the day’s stories at a level a 10-year-old can follow: school strikes, climate marches, Eurosong picks, Studio 100 anniversaries. The Dutch equivalent on NPO is Jeugdjournaal, which Karrewiet draws from.
