What does “banalnie proste” mean in Polish?

In Polish, calling something banalne is not always an insult. Banalnie proste — “banally simple” — is the standard way to say “dead easy,” and recipe videos live on it: przygotowanie banalnie proste, “the prep is dead easy.” The adverb banalnie works as an intensifier for prosty, łatwy and oczywisty, so the phrase praises the simplicity rather than sneering at it.

Other everyday intensifiers from the same clip family: ekspresowe ciasteczka (“express cookies,” i.e. super quick), tylko z trzech składników (“from just three ingredients”), and the sign-off zaobserwuj po więcej — “follow for more,” where zaobserwować is the social-media “follow” that Polish built from obserwować, “to observe.” Note the borrowed air fryer declined like a Polish noun: z air fryera, “from the air fryer.”
