Slow speech Thai

Real Thai videos at slow pace, where the five tones, the polite particles, and the classifier system all stay clearly audible.

Slow Thai gives the ear time to do the work that defines the language: hearing the five tones (mid, low, falling, high, rising) reliably enough that มา (come) and ม้า (horse) and หมา (dog) stop blending together. At slow pace you also catch the polite particles ครับ and ค่ะ that close most polite sentences, and the classifiers that Thai requires when counting (สามคน for three people, สองตัว for two animals). Children’s storytelling, beginner-aimed comprehensible-input channels, and slow snack-review videos are forgiving here, since vocabulary repeats and speakers articulate every tone clearly. Listen once for the noun, then again for the tone shape on each syllable.

Reelang’s Thai video feed is TikTok-style: real videos from native Thai speakers, graded by level and speech speed, tagged by accent. As you scroll, it learns from how you watch and serves comprehensible input matched to your level.
