Natural pace Esperanto
Esperanto at conversational speed: vlogs, podcasts and congress interviews, the pace of Esperantujo talking to itself.
Natural-pace Esperanto is where most of the language actually lives: vlogs, two-person podcasts, reports filmed at the Universala Kongreso. Speakers stop explaining and start talking. Compound words arrive fully built, so vortprovizo or samideano hits you as one lump instead of parts you can unpack at leisure. The accusative -n stops being a rule and becomes a sound you either catch or miss, and missing it loses you who did what to whom. This is also where the community words show up, the ones no course bothers with: krokodili, to sit in a room full of Esperantists and speak your own language anyway. Pick clips on subjects you would watch in your first language, so your attention goes to the rhythm instead of the vocabulary. Let the first pass run without subtitles. Go back for the parts that blurred.
